Nurse or Nursing AssistantAs a nurse assistant, you will be working virtually from our office under the supervision of a physician, physician assistant, or registered nurse (RN) in scheduling appointments, creating referrals, answering inbound calls, making outbound calls for appointment confirmation, but not limited to these duties.Duties and Responsibilities:- Schedule appointments and confirm appointments- Taking messages- Reports immediate concerns and updates to the physician or other primary care physician involved in the care of the patient- Receives report of vital signs directly from the patient- Medical insurance verification for surgical procedures- Medical insurance verification for durable medical equipment and injections- Follow up with medical insurance companies to schedule peer to peer- Pharmacy calls and prior authorization on medications- Forms part of daily huddles or meetings- Forms part of each educational and staff meeting- Interacts with other health care professionals as a productive team member- Uses and can document in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)- Answers all calls in a friendly and professional manner- Coordinates with the clinic and other staff as a team player- Additional tasks as indicated or assigned.THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB FROM HOME.YOU WILL WORK FROM OUR OFFICE WORKING VIRTUALLY FOR AN ASSIGNED US BASED CLINIC.Qualifications:Education: High School or GED equivalent requiredLicensure/Certification: Nurse Bachelor's Degree or Certified Nursing Assistant DegreeExperience: At least three years of experience as a medical assistant or other related job experience required.One year of experience with Electronic Medical Records systems is required.Languages: Both English and Spanish fluency orally and written requiredKnowledge and abilities: Ability to communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Ability to work independently.Grammar, typing speed, and medical knowledge tests are required.Pay: salary of ***** MX Pesos per monthTipo de puesto: Tiempo completoSueldo: $29,****** al mesBeneficios:- Vacaciones adicionales o permisos con goce de sueldoTipo de jornada:- Lunes a viernes- Turno de 8 horasPuede trasladarse/mudarse:- Monterrey, N.
