OverviewLocation: Factory Purina SilaoBusiness: Nestle PurinaMinimum 10 years experience in safety areas including project managementAdvanced EnglishQualifications: NEBOSH S&H or OHSA Construction, NFPA 70 EPolicies & Legal Requirements: International safety legislation relevant to project and constructionPurposePromote and ensure excellence in safety management during all project life cycle (project workflow).Develop and communicate the Project Safety Management Plan and ensure its effective implementation. Support development of Project Safety Strategy. Monitor project standards and KPIs, recognise good performance and address poor performance by managing effective action plans. Proactively communicate with all project teams, project community, authorities, and Nestlé management. Promote Safety Culture, compliance fulfillment, and be ambassador of Safety during all phases of execution.A day in the lifeEnsure Compliance: Ensure compliance with local safety legislation and Nestlé safety standards and principles by integrating safety into all project stages (from refinement to delivery), operational reviews, design-for-construction, and contractor selection and management.Safety Management Plan: Support project teams to develop the Safety Management Plan and communicate it to project management and contractors. Ensure the plan includes effective risk management procedures for worker orientation & training, risk assessment, method statements, lifting plans, permit to work, emergency planning, etc. Modify the plans as required during the project to reflect changes in risk.Ensure Safe Work Practices: Implement site risk management procedures. Ensure specific safe working practices are in place focusing on high frequency risks (e.g., slips, trips, falls, injuries from sharp points and edges) and high hazard tasks (e.g., work at height, critical lifting, hot work) and the five safety in projects risk activities.Develop Capability of Managers: Ensure training and coaching is provided to managers and team leaders to develop their knowledge of risk management, legislation and duties.
