Insulet started in **** with an idea and a mission to enable our customers to enjoy simplicity, freedom and healthier lives through the use of our Omnipod® product platform.In the last two decades we have improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients by using innovative technology that is wearable, waterproof, and lifestyle accommodating.- We are looking for highly motivated, performance driven individuals to be a part of our expanding team.We do this by hiring amazing people guided by shared values who exceed customer expectations.Our continued success depends on itJob Title: Engineering Operations TechnicianCompany OverviewInsulet started in **** driven to achieve our mission of enabling our customers to enjoy simplicity, freedom, and healthier lives through the use of our Omnipod® product platform.In the last two decades, we have improved the lives of hundreds of thousands of patients who have insulin-requiring diabetes, by using innovative technology that is wearable, waterproof, and lifestyle accommodating.We are on an exciting trajectory of significant growth and global expansion enabling us to reach more patients around the globe.We are looking for highly motivated, performance-driven individuals who want to be at the forefront of our rapidly growing global footprint.We are looking to hire amazing people who are guided by shared values and desire to exceed customer expectations.Our continued success depends on it.Position OverviewThis position will be primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering teams, preparation of mission-critical equipment and materials, supporting operations of engineering laboratories, and promoting a safe work environment.Responsibilities- This position has no supervisory responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory records, monitor stock, and reorder supplies as needed- Adhere to 5S principles for organizing and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.- Diagnose and resolve technical issues while ensuring timely repair and replacement of faulty equipment- Supports equipment preventative maintenance and calibration while maintaining equipment availability- Coordinate logistics for equipment deployment and delivery to other sites- Actively supports a safe work environment, promotes a safety cultureRequired Skills and Competencies- Clearly and effectively communicates information.- Intermediate Understanding of Android & iOS Operating Systems- Ability to follow established procedures and/or methods with a moderate degree of supervision- Applies basic analytical and administrative/technical skills to perform routine activities- Ensures accuracy and precision through strong attention to detail- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.- Assess workload and prioritize tasks effectively.- Familiarity with various engineering equipment (e.g., lab instruments, testing devices)- Office Software Proficiency (Word, Excel) and technical writing capabilities- Work effectively with cross-functional teamsEducation and Experience- High School diploma / GED and 2+ years of relevant experience, or associate's degree/Vocational Technical School diploma with focus on related field and 1+ years of relevant experienceAdditional Information- This position is in person in our Tijuana Facility- Travel is estimated at 10% but will flex depending on business needs.- Ability to lift at least 30lbs.
