**Job Details****What you will do?**:**Under the general direction of the Manufacturing Manager, develops and implements new processes and machinery, standard times and manufacturing procedures for the fabrications and assembly areas.The basic objectives of this senior manufacturing engineer are: keeping processes safe, efficient, zero waste, as well as the continues improvement and cost reduction of all factory processes.**:**This senior engineer is also responsible for the successful implementation of new products and major design changes for the Monterrey facility.The basic objective is to achieve the on time delivery, the efficiency, quality, cost, and safety targets.This senior engineer is also responsible for maintaining the current plant layout and for evaluating the future requirements of growth and footprint capacity optimization.**:**How you will do it?**:- **Provides production lines equipment, tools and machinery to make processes safe, efficient and quality standards compliant.**:- **Determines standard times for assembly of every new product made in the plant and reports it to the Engineering Dpt.**:- **Analyze and solve problems for production, safety, logistics, engineering, materials and quality departments.**:- **Makes cost reduction analysis to determinates possible savings and if the projects are approved, implement those changes.**:- **Keep an updated plant Lay Out.**:- **This includes calculating the transportation resources required to move work in process from station to station within the factory lay out.**:- **Implement ideas coming from the internal Suggestions System Participate in internal safety programs (Safe star and LOTO)**:- **Responsible for developing and presenting local CARs necessary to support the new product implementation.**:- **Develop detail project plans to expand capacity and/or increase efficiency and execute them**:- **Provide feedback to design engineering to improve the product introduction process Support manufacturing functions with design related input and assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues.**:- **Responsible for the selection and implementation of new processes, machines and/or tooling necessary to support new products.**:- **This will be done within the guidelines of the PDP (Product development process) and local Early Preparation procedures.**:- **Responsible for attaining efficiency targets during the ramp up phase of the implementation.**:- **Selects and supervises all the contractors that are needed to implement new processes inside the factory including the technical aspects of their work as well as the safety rules compliance.**:**What are we looking for?**:**Engineering Bachelor's degree.Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Manufacturing including the use of tools like AutoCAD software, lean manufacturing principles, p3 and six sigma.Professional recognition and industry networking are desired.Good working knowledge of all the production processes used in the Air Conditioning equipment industry.Would be able to lead and direct diverse teams, and to travel up to 30% of the time.Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office Suite.English language proficiency is also required.**:
