The quality engineer is in charge of ensuring the conformity of the manufacturing process and product quality.We are the movers of the world and the makers of the future.We get up every day, roll up our sleeves and build a better world - together.At Ford, we're all a part of something bigger than ourselves.- Bachelor's degree- Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts.- Problem-solving methodology (8D, 6 SIGMA).- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles- Knowledge of GD&T.- Core Tools (Control Plan, AMEF, PPAP, MSA, APQP, SPC).- Auditing experience preferred.- Knowledge Standard WorkFord Motor Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, as we are committed with a diverse workforce, and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran and basis of disability.The quality engineer is in charge of ensuring the conformity of the manufacturing process and product quality.- Make sure the accomplishment of Safety annual training applicable- Support and management of continuous Improvement and coach problem resolution to the lowest level of the organization.- Quality process assurance monitoring of FTT indicator and leading problem-solving teams focused on main offenders.- Responsible of the internal indicators (Quality).Customer internals and externals rejects.- Lead for the process annual capabilities machines.- Identify sources of variation within a production environment effectively and efficiently through the SPC.- Support concern resolution with cross-functional teams, including the Quality department, production, and suppliers.- Ensure the department data, records and reports management according GIS1, GIS2.- Interpret, understand and has adherence to applicable Global Quality Standards and ES (Engineering Specifications) and make recommendations.- Support during internal, 2nd party or third-party audits and lead required action plans.- Responsible for fast response to External Quality Engineer for VO Claims/ warranty claims during first 24h after notification.- Lead problem solving summary list.(Record and following all the issues related with quality).- Identify, blocked and manage the defective or suspect parts according to applicable procedures and perform quarantines in QLS & CMMS.
