Mx), for Weidmann Electrical Technology**Join our team to further inspire a culture of innovation.****Allow us to introduce ourselves**We are a globally active family company whose sustainable and responsible actions contribute to improved living standards.We are an attractive employer with a value-oriented corporate culture based on trust, appreciation and continuous improvement.**Weidmann Electrical Technology** has been at the heart of the global transformer industry for over 140 years.With deep rooted knowledge in the design, development and operation of transformers, Weidmann is a leading integrated solutions provider for specialized product and services in the energy sector.**The role**To optimize supply chain operations by managing daily planning, warehouse and consignment inventories, and logistics for Weidmann.Support the transition to a value-added service provider through vendor-managed inventories, third-party product coordination, and warehouse development, ensuring alignment with strategic goals across all PBUs.**How you'll make an impact**- Utilizing customer forecast and/or MRP data, plan and maintain customer material inventory needs to ensure consistent supply to their warehouses.- Execute purchase orders in SAP based on schedules to guarantee on-time deliveries.- Manage customers' material inventories, including consignment stock, to maintain optimal levels and meet objectives.- Review and analyze Customer MRP's to determine appropriate replenishment levels.- Place orders with Weidmann sites and third-party vendors to maintain appropriate inventories.- Coordinate the transportation of goods from Weidmann sites to third-party warehouses.- Oversee the import/export of goods across North America, working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers as needed.- Review and approve vendor invoices and work with Finance to resolve discrepancies.- Maintain accurate inventory levels by: analyzing and updating safety stock, monthly inventory reconciliations, develop and execute plans for aged inventory and support annual physical inventories at third-party warehouses, which may include travel- Process invoices in SAP for shipped materials to ensure accurate and timely accounting.- Act as the primary contact for consignment inventory customers, addressing needs, resolving issues, and coordinating material returns.- Ensure accurate data entry in the materials module to generate essential reports and purchase orders.- Approve invoices issued by supply chain suppliers to ensure their timely accounting.- Oversee the logistics process to ensure timely transfer and delivery of materials.- Support high-quality deliverables and meet business goals within established timelines.- Serve as the key liaison among WETI, WTEM, manufacturing plants, sales teams, logistics, customer service, and customers.Facilitate the development of cross-functional plans to improve customer satisfaction by effectively meeting their requirements.**What do you bring**- Education: BS Degree in Engineering, Technology, or equivalent required; Quality preferred.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in working with suppliers in a manufacturing environment.- Languages: English- Specialized training in "lean manufacturing/lean enterprise/lean Six Sigma" concepts is a strong plus.- Must be able to demonstrate aptitude in data-driven problem-solving techniques.Skilled in root cause and failure Analysis diagnosis.- Must be able to analyze and present fact-based management reporting with recommendations.- Must have a detailed understanding of international quality/testing standards (ISO, IEC, ASTM, TAPPI, CE, etc.)- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with internal customers.Must demonstrate tactfulness in dealing with suppliers.- Critical thinking, decision making, complex problem solving, project management, ability to lead, motivate and develop skills among colleagues.- This position requires domestic and international travel up to 50%.- Certified auditor credentials are a plus.- Must be able to uncover objective evidence.- Must be Fluent in English and Spanish.**What do we offer?**- Competitive salary and Compensation package- Health and life insurance.- Diversity and inclusion programs- Management position in a global company- Career plan- Atractive Variable Bonus SystemWe look forward to hearing from you soonAt Weidmann we are committed to equal opportunities and growth for all talents.We are convinced that a diverse and inclusive work environment increases mutual understanding and innovation of our business.**We've been at the heart of the global transformer industry for over 140 years.**:With deep rooted knowledge in the design, development and operation of transformers, Weidmann is a leading
