**Lead and manage all import and export activities**at the site (including both Rosemount and Asco operations), ensuring the seamless flow of raw materials, supplies, finished goods, and capital equipment.Drive compliance with all applicable Mexican customs, tax and Emerson regulations, while optimizing trade processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.**Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes and ensure business continuity.****In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:- Oversee that the activities of the area are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the operating procedures and in strict compliance with the current regulations governing Mexican foreign trade (Customs Law, Foreign Trade Law, General Import and Export Tax Law and other applicable regulations in this area), in addition to corporate compliance with foreign trade policies and procedures.- Coordinate daily crossings with the Finished Product Warehouse, ensuring that import and export procedures have the correct invoices.- Supervise the correct tariff classification of inputs, finished products and fixed assets made by the customs agent.- Audit the information contained in the Global Trade database system, to reconcile information related to inventory control, virtual inventories and resolve discrepancies when they arise.- Hold meetings and facilitate trainings on Customs and Compliance topics.**Who You Are**:I am a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with a strong work ethic, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven track record to work effectively as part of a team.I am confident in my ability to lead and manage all aspects of customs operations for a successful manufacturing company.**For This Role, You Will Need**:- B.A. or equivalent experience International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration with concentration in International Business- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment.- Interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal skills to facilitate effective communication, in English and Spanish.- A thorough understanding of all relevant Mexican customs laws, regulations, and procedures is paramount.This includes customs regulations, tariff classifications, and duty drawback programs.- A strong understanding of supply chain principles and the ability to optimize custom processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart**:- Deep Knowledge of Customs Regulations- Familiarity with trade agreements relevant to Mexico, such as USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement), and their impact on import and export operations- Customs Broker Management.- Familiarity with customs clearance software and other relevant technologies (PRISMA and Oracle are desire).- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and spreadsheets to supervise and analyze customs data.- The ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve customs-related issues and challenges.- Continuous Learning in industry trends.**Our Offer To You**:At Emerson, we are committed to fostering a culture where every employee is valued and respected for their unique experiences and perspectives.We believe a diverse and inclusive work environment contributes to the rich exchange of ideas and diversity of thoughts, that inspire innovation and brings the best solutions to our customers.The philosophy is fundamental to living our company's values and our responsibility to leave the world in a better place.Learn more about our Culture & Values and about Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion at Emerson.Our training programs and initiatives focus on end-to end development, from onboarding through senior leadership.We provide a wide range of development opportunities, including face-to-face and virtual training, mentorship, and coaching, project management, and on-the-job training.Come join us and be part of our team
