**About the job**:**General Objective**:Manage and plan direct expenses (raw materials and packaging) for the factory.Support the execution of projects and strategies developed for global/regional purchases related to the Tijuana plant.Collaborate with key internal clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.Proactively identify and manage potential risks in the supply chain.Optimize service levels with suppliers and develop and implement strategies.Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization.**General Functions**:- Manage and supervise direct expenses (raw materials and packaging).- Project management: Support and drive the execution of projects and strategies developed by regional/global purchasing related to the plant.- Collaborate with global and regional purchasing, as well as interested areas, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions.- Ensure a strong relationship with suppliers, strengthen existing relationships, ensuring compliance with quality, delivery, and cost expectations.- Risk management: Proactively identify and manage potential risks in the supply chain, including supplier vulnerability and market variations.- Optimize service level with suppliers.Effective communication between stakeholders and the supplier.Development and implementation of strategies related to raw materials and packaging.- Ensure alignment of global objectives and goals with those of the plant.- Understand and analyze price variations of direct categories.- Maintain strong working relationships with all departments within the plant and with all external customers and suppliers.- Supplier onboarding management.- Support and actively participate in the plant's objective of fostering a self-managed team environment.- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Procurement Manager.- All other functions related to the position.**Requirements**:- Advanced English- Experience in Years: 4-5 years.Experience in purchasing direct materials (raw materials and packaging), negotiation skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-organized.**Skills and Knowledge**:- Strong analytical focus.- Contract management.- Knowledge of Direct Materials (Raw Materials and Packaging).Strong analytical ability.- Negotiation, ability to influence others.- Advanced Excel or ERP management for inventory control.
