Location: Juárez, MX - Test Engineer Salary Classification: HAY Job Summary Lead work to define and improve the capability of test equipment and data quality Specify, Design and select test equipment Maintain and improve reliability and performance of test Equipment. Develop / implement test software and test plans. Analyze and Solve test Equipment problems Participate in the test strategy definition for a given product Responsibilities Define test sequences Perform Capacity and Repeatability studies to Test Equipment Develop software and test plans Analyze root causes of failures on Test Equipment, Test software and Product. Provide corrective actions. Work with customers, project managers, designers, toolmakers and electricians to solve problems in order to provide functional test system Debug and commission control systems, during the system integration stage and then during installation Test Process definition on launches of new processes Test equipment specifications preparation for new projects Provide accurate documentation for each project after programming code update. Act as backup for other Test Engineers. Education An engineering degree, diploma or equivalent, specializing in mechanical, electrical, systems or computer engineering. Experience 4 years of experience minimum in similar position. Qualifications Good level in Software programming (Lab View) Good knowledge in electronics (Analog / Digital).
