OverviewJob Description:An automation machine builder assembles, commissions, and trouble shoots a variety of equipment including Special Machines, Secondary Equipment, Assembly Automation, Robotic Cells, in addition to other types of equipment.Reporting to:Automation Machine Build LeaderResponsibilitiesStrong mechanical / machine building aptitudeAbility to read blueprints and understand tolerancing of components and machined partsAbility to communicate and follow directionFollow a machine from start to finishOther duties as required by the Machine Build Supervisor, General Manager or Select Tool ManagementGeneral machinist capabilities (Bridgeport, Grinder, surface, ID/OD, Lathe, and a wide variety of hand tools (drills, grinders, etc.))QualificationsValid Ontario Driver's license and Canadian PassportAbility to travel to and within Canada, USA and MexicoProper tools for Assembly and MeasurementUnderstand basic measurement fundamentalsMechanically inclinedAbility to analyze and troubleshoot problemsEducationMinimum High School diplomaTechnical School Graduate or equivalent experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.Motivated to complete an apprenticeship after probationary periodAccessibilitySelect Tool is committed to fostering a positive work environment and empowering its employees.Select Tool encourages applications from all qualified applicants and provides accommodations for applicants with disabilities.Please contact human resources if you require an accommodation during the recruitment process.#J-*****-Ljbffr
