Material Planner

Join Our Team as a Material Planner at Johnson Electric Location: Zacatecas, Mexico (onsite) Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It: As our next Material Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct flow of materials from receipt to shipment through production lines. You will manage material requirements, maintain MRP parameters, review delivery exceptions, and analyze inventory discrepancies. You will also support lean manufacturing initiatives to improve processes, inventory levels, and cost efficiency. What You’ll Be Doing: Administer Oracle MPS-MRP system Ensure proper material flow through production lines Maintain MRP parameters and review delivery exceptions Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies Support engineering changes and project terminations Manage warehouse operations and inventory levels Support logistics processes and customer service scheduling Evaluate supplier performance and support procurement planning Participate in environmental management system training and initiatives Generate reports: critical materials, inventory cost, extraordinary freight, etc. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field 3–5 years of experience in materials planning, logistics, or supply chain Strong knowledge of material planning and logistics processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Fluent in English (spoken and written) Ability to evaluate material management impact on cost and operations Experience in inventory control and discrepancy resolution Bonus Points If You Have: Experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and supplier negotiations How to Apply: Apply online at www.johnsonelectric.com – We can’t wait to meet you #J-18808-Ljbffr
