About MACA AdvisorsMACA Advisors is a boutique investment bank advising market leaders and institutional investors across Latin America and the Caribbean.We deliver senior-led execution, cross-border expertise, and rigorous financial analysis through a nimble platform rooted in client alignment, transparency, and trust.Role SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Summer Analyst to join our advisory team for a structured internship program.This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment banking through active participation in live transactions, client work, and strategic advisory mandates.You'll collaborate closely with deal teams and gain exposure to the full deal lifecycle, developing a strong foundation for a future career in finance.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist senior bankers in origination, opportunity evaluation, and transaction executionConduct detailed financial analyses to support strategic decision-makingPerform in-depth company and industry researchHelp prepare client presentations, memorandums, and other key materialsParticipate in due diligence and client meetings, gaining firsthand exposure to deal executionWork closely with team members and clients across a variety of industries and transaction typesCore Skills and RequirementsFluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese required for Brazil-based hires)Based in Latin America or the United States (remote)Exceptional academic credentials (minimum GPA of 3.7 or equivalent)Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detailDemonstrated dedication, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative mindsetExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordWhat we offerExposure to live M&A and capital advisory transactionsOne-on-one mentorship from experienced investment bankersStructured learning opportunities in financial modeling, valuation, and strategic thinkingA collaborative, high-performance environment rooted in trust and transparencyPotential pathway to a full-time Analyst role upon successful completion of the programApplication ProcessWe evaluate candidates through a structured multi-round process, including: Fit interviews with team members, Final round with senior leadership.Seniority Level: InternshipEmployment Type: OtherJob Function: Finance and SalesIndustries: Investment Banking#J-*****-Ljbffr
