**About Us**At Mammotome, we are committed to providing best-in-class technology to help clinicians accurately diagnose breast cancer.We provide clinicians devices spanning the breast cancer diagnostic care continuum from tissue biopsy to accurate lesion removal, never forgetting that at the heart of each breast cancer diagnosis is the patient.Through our ever-expanding product portfolio we strive every day to improve the patient's journey and achieve better outcomes.Headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, the Mammotome brand is sold in over 50 different countries throughout the world.**Position Summary and Overview**The Danaher Business System (DBS) is our proven system for achieving success.DBS is a philosophy, set of values, and series of management processes that collectively define who we are and how we do what we do at Danaher.Our DBS tools are designed to help us excel in the areas of Growth, Leadership, and Lean, building on a solid foundation of DBS fundamentals (Voice of Customer, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement, Kaizen, 5S, Problem Solving, and Visual & Daily Management).The DBS Leader, Lean is responsible for promoting and leading the successful implementation of Lean DBS in Mammotome's Tijuana, Mexico site.They will be a key business partner who is results driven with a strong ability to drive effective use of DBS.**Major Responsibilities**- Serve as Lean DBS expert to our Tijuana, Mexico site; drive sustained operational improvements and Kaizen results that impact Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through facilitation of DBS activities and mentorship of Leaders, Associates, and Kaizen teams.- Drive results across the dimensions of Safety, Quality, Delivery and or Cost by leveraging a solid understanding of the DBS Fundamentals combined with Lean tools from 4 different areas: Reliability, Operations, Supply Chain, and Materials.- Develop and continuously improve processes within Operations at the Tijuana site as a member of the site leadership team.Continuously advance DBS capabilities by leveraging the DBS Playbooks and corresponding action plans.- Create and lead a prioritized Kaizen Funnel and Certified Practitioner plan to close KPI gaps with appropriate Visual & Daily Management and Leadership engagement.Improve DBS training and facilitation by pursuing certification in DBS tools for yourself and others.- Facilitate and Lead PSP (Problem Solving Process) Teams in everyday Problem Solving.Install and facilitate Visual & Daily Management at Gemba across the Vista site.**Qualifications**Hands-on and detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture.Will be an independent worker, capable of operating in a fast-moving, everchanging environment and able to effectively deal with difficult situations.- Fluent in English and Spanish- BS or BA Degree in Business, Engineering, Science or equivalent- 5+ years of Operations, Engineering, or Lean experience- Hands-on experience implementing improvements in a continuous improvement environment (DBS, Lean Six Sigma, TPS, etc.), line management or consulting role- Independent worker, capable of operating with urgency in a fast-moving and fluid environment- Skills in communications, training / adult learning, consulting / influencing; teamwork across disciplines and cultures- Demonstrated proficiency in time management and action plan development and execution.- Ability to inspire change, handle conflict and drive for solutions amid ambiguity- Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Science- Knowledge of key DBS Lean Tools: Operations, Danaher Reliability System, Supply Chain, and the Danaher Materials System.- Certified Practitioner in a minimum of one appropriate Lean DBS Tool.- Experience managing people and/or projects- Exposure to and participation in a wide variety of training and facilitation environments**Travel **(approximated by overnight stays per week)- Travel is only necessary when supporting/benchmarking other LBS/Danaher sites or participating in face-to-face DBS team gatheringsAt Danaher, we value diversity and the existence of similarities and differences, both visible and not, found in our workforce, workplace and throughout the markets we serve.Our associates, customers and shareholders contribute unique and different perspectives as a result of these diverse attributes.
