Overview:**About Us**:Cordis is an independent, customer-focused global provider of interventional cardiovascular technologies.During our 60+ year history we've established a legacy of pioneering breakthrough technologies, including the first guiding catheters and coronary drug eluting stents.Cordis has built a strong global footprint that spans 70 countries.We're teammates, not just employees.Our culture empowers you to act like an owner and unleash your full potential in the process.With diverse teams on a global scale, we foster an inclusive atmosphere where everyone is embraced for who they are, their unique perspective, and what they bring to the table.We believe the richness of our experiences and backgrounds enhances the careers of our teammates, the service to our customers, and ultimately, the lives of our patients.If you love a challenge and are ready to have a direct, positive impact on the lives of millions, then Cordis is just the place for you.Join us, and let's improve the wellbeing of millions, together.We are the people behind the people who keep saving lives.The **Purchasing Operations Manager** will manage the acquisition and inventory of goods and services for Cordis direct and indirect expenditures ensuring that procure to pay (P2P) and inventory management (IM) business processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulations, policies, and laws.This position will report into Cordis's Strategic Sourcing Director while partnering with Manufacturing Materials Planning, Global Indirect Procurement and Finance Shared Services for planning, executing, and reporting on purchasing operations.The role may be virtual within the continental US (or domiciled in our Juarez facility) with occasional travel to our four (4) manufacturing plants in North America.**Responsibilities**:- Manage P2P and IM business processes for direct and indirect expenditures- Develop and implement strategies to automate and optimize P2P and IM business processes- Lead the deployment and integration of BOTs and other advanced technologies to enhance procurement efficiency and accuracy- Maintain strong relationship with Direct and Indirect Strategic Sourcing teams and Category Managers to build purchasing governance aligned to terms and conditions of supplier agreements- Understand the needs of manufacturing organization to maintain proper inventory and buying schedules- Operate Indirect Procurement Support Center for tactical sourcing and global P2P support.- Create escalation path and build organization rigor in maintaining proper escalations internally and externally- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track procurement performance and identify areas for improvement- Provide leadership and mentorship to the procurement operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovationQualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.- 8-10 years of experience in purchasing operations organization responsible for indirect and direct buying with a proven track record of success in managing end-to-end P2P processes.- Deep working knowledge of procurement technologies, BOTs, and other advanced automation tools.- Results-driven with a passion for innovation and process improvement.- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and process improvement.- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Spanish and multilingual skills preferred.
