Project CoordinatorLocation: Durango, CO (On-site)Position Type: Full-Time, In-OfficeReports To: Chief Operating OfficerSalary Range: $50,000–$75,000 DOEAt Spriggs Excavation, Inc., our mission is to deliver exceptional results—safely and efficiently—driven by our all-star team.For over 20 years, we've built a reputation for quality, reliability, and integrity.Guided by our core values of Safety, Teamwork, Professionalism, Accountability, and Integrity, we take pride in realizing our mission of being a company admired for our people, our partnership, and our performance.Position OverviewWe're adding a Project Coordinator to support our growing Project Management team.This position works closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and other Coordinators to ensure smooth project start-ups and consistent administrative support throughout each project's lifecycle.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.You'll need strong organizational skills, solid data entry experience, and a proactive "can-do" attitude.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Start-Ups: Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, and Accounting to launch projects on schedule.Prequalification packets, project creation in project management software and accounting software, crew schedule, create cost codes, cost and revenue budgets.Project Support: Partner with Project Engineers and Project Managers to complete change orders.Partner with Project Managers on subcontracts, cost functions, and pay applications.Maintain accurate project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and budget updates.Subcontracts: Commit subcontracts, file documents, issue lien waivers, create purchase orders, receive and process invoices, enter change orders, collect and process monthly pay applications.Employee & System Support: Maintain project management software, update crew schedules, and issue assignment alerts.Team Collaboration: Attend weekly meetings and provide cross-departmental administrative support as needed.Qualifications2+ years of construction industry experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel and Outlook).Familiarity with construction management or project management software preferred.Understanding of project budgets (cost and revenue).Knowledge of AP and AR.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Collaborative, organized, and self-motivated.Proficiency in spoken and written English required for safety and communication.BenefitsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings AccountCompany-paid life and AD&D insuranceCompany-paid long-term disability insuranceVoluntary group life insuranceSupplemental insurance through AFLACPet InsuranceLegal Insurance & ID Theft ProtectionMatched RetirementVacation and Sick LeaveCompetitive Pay6 Paid HolidaysBonus Program#J-*****-Ljbffr
