Senior Electrical Estimator Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimating and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for both commercial and residential electrical projects, interpreting project plans, blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, performing detailed material takeoffs and creating cost breakdowns for labor, materials, overhead and equipment, developing and supporting bid proposals, participating in bid reviews and clarifications, tracking project changes and updating estimates accordingly within three business days, collaborating with the owner for updates, clarifications, and ongoing improvements, maintaining high attention to detail and delivering consistently error-free work, participating in occasional revisions and value-engineering reviews, and owning their deliverables and working independently.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate and timely estimates for commercial and residential electrical projects- Interpret project plans, blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications- Perform detailed material takeoffs and create cost breakdowns- Develop and support bid proposals- Participate in bid reviews and clarifications- Track project changes and update estimates- Collaborate with the owner for updates and improvements- Maintain high attention to detail and deliver error-free work- Participate in occasional revisions and value-engineering reviewsRequired Skills & Qualifications:- Minimum six years of experience in electrical estimating- Strong background estimating commercial and residential projects- Proficient in estimating software such as McCormick and/or Electric Ease- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills- Able to work full U.S. business hours (8-hour shifts excluding lunch)- Exceptionally detail-oriented, analytical, and organized- Strong sense of independence and ownership over work qualityPreferred Candidate Profile:- Based in Latin America for time zone and communication alignment- Professional, mature, and committed to long-term remote employment- Operates with a 'business owner' mindset and pride in their craft
