**BORGWARNER MEXICO****Solicita**:**Purchasing Supervisor****Descripción y Requisitos**- Overview:- BorgWarner a leading firm in the automotive industry is looking for an energetic self-powered purchasing supervisor for their campus in Juarez Mexico.- Required Skills/Abilities:- Thorough understanding of purchasing procedures and policies.- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to read, interpret, and explain policies and procedures used in purchasing.- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.- ** Excel advance skills.Proved.Able to handle large data base and reporting trends out of it.**:- ** Financial month to month forecasting and budget procedures.Hands on individual.**:- ** Strong SAP skills.Being able to teach and mentoring others.**:- ** Cost estimation for new projects: Rapid quoting process, cost model, curve cost comparison.**- Duties/Responsibilities:- Supervise team of purchasing; 4 commodity buyers, 1PLB, AQE's.- Evaluates bids, ensuring compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.- Distributes purchasing information to involved parties including vendors, sales representatives, and employees.- Reviews and evaluates purchase request forms for accuracy and completeness.- Gathers, records, and completes purchase data.- Completes other related projects as assigned.- ** Build forecast, month 2 month.**:- ** Annual budget build.**:- Supplier negotiations.- Cost savings strategy development.Execution.- Escalation / De-escalation agreement and execution.- Cost recovery strategy.Execution.- Intensive input for new project quotes to customer.Cost BOM's for BorgWarner customers quotes.- Manage Supplier crisis: Financial troubles suppliers, capacity and delivery problems.Commercial matters.Other.- Reporting.- Education and Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Supply chain or financial fields.- At least five years of experience in related field required.- Proficient English 85%- Analytical skills (MS Office/SAP).- High communication / negotiation / collaboration skill with internal and external stakeholders.- Positive attitude to learn and face challenges, thinking outside of the box, team player.- Time management skills with ease to understand and establish priorities- Supervisory Responsibilities:- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.- Directs the daily workflow and schedules of the department, coordinating staff involved in purchasing, selling, and distributing supplies, machinery, materials, or equipment.- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.Puesto: Comprador**Información Adicional**- Tipo de contrato: Permanente- Salario: Negociable- Pais: MEXICO- Estado o Region: Chihuahua- Ciudad: Ciudad Juarez
