**JOB SUMMARY**:Provides first level support as well as ongoing preventive maintenance for computer and network equipment at the Juarez facility**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:- Perform installation, ongoing preventive maintenance and level 1 support for desktop computers/laptops, handheld devices, printers, phones and miscellaneous office equipment- Assist with network moves/adds/changes to include network lines and equipment- Installation, upgrade and configuration of computer software on servers and workstations- Assist with maintenance and support of the following systems:- Office phone system- Wireless network- Security/video surveillance system- Troubleshoot and diagnose server related issues- Maintain inventory records of computer equipment- Work with outside vendors/consultants on designated projects - Assist team on companywide projects and upgrades- Utilize I.T. work order system to properly track all reported user issues/requests through completion.- Maintain details and status of all assigned work orders.- Perform other duties as assigned**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:1) Performs other duties as assigned2) Participates in all training as required3) Setting up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices4) Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)5) Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule6) Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems7) Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance**REQUIREMENTS**:- Degree or Technical certificate in information systems/computer science or equivalent experience- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, team environment- Ability to multi-task and effectively handle multiple projects, tasks and responsibilities- Ability to work effectively with a group of people with diverse abilities and backgrounds- Strong written and oral communication skills- Bilingual English and Spanish
