At Gentherm, we say, "**It's about the person**."We're with you on a cold winter day when you turn on your heated seat and steering wheel or helping manage patient body temperature in the operating room, recovering room or intensive care units.We take a human approach with everything we do.As the global market leader of innovative thermal management and pneumatic comfort technologies for the automotive industry we embrace the opportunity to create and deliver extraordinary solutions that make meaningful differences in everyday life.We do this by improving health, wellness, comfort and energy efficiency.We embrace an entrepreneurial spirit and combine that with our global leadership to deliver results.Working at Gentherm provides you the opportunity to not only shape the future of the automotive and medical industries, but also influence your career throughout the company.You will be engaged, challenged and inspired by our team to deliver leading thermal technologies that positively impact lives around the world.**TRANSPORTATION & WAREHOUSE ANALYST**:**IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY**Support global activities for the Global Supply Chain Team with a focus on Logistics (including Warehousing) & Transportation.The position will support efficient and effective operation of the Logistics & Transportation Department by analyzing data, developing processes, and developing & executing action plans to develop a world class organization, optimize costs, and achieve world class performance.Develop cost-effective logistics, transportation, & warehousing solutions that meet and exceed the expectations of Gentherm and our customers.Prepare and analyze quotations for global, regional, & local transportation services (air, ocean, parcel, & road), support implementation of new contracts, support cost savings reporting and other key metrics for logistics, transportation, warehousing, etc.Support the development and implementation of automated reporting (e.g. Power BI) to track and improve key performance indicators (transit time, schedule adherence, inbound & outbound delivery performance, freight costs, warehousing metrics, etc.).**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:**Support Strategy**Partner with the Sr.Manager - Logistics & Transportation to develop & manage land, ocean, air, and parcel supply chain network.Lead data analytics for key Global Supply Chain KPIs (Transportation Savings, Transit Times, Forwarder Delivery Performance, Warehousing Efficiency, etc.).Support the Global Supply Chain Team to develop a world class Supply Chain built on end-to-end value stream orientation, lean principles, and optimization of the total cost of ownership.Partner with the Sr.Manager - Logistics & Transportation to lead regional and global parcel, road, ocean, and air freight tenders / quotations and contract implementations.- Support the Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning (SIOP) process to drive attainment of delivery, revenue, and inventory targets.- Monitor market trends in the transportation industry and develop strategies to capitalize on and/or mitigate market changes.- Monitor critical shipments to ensure supply through accurate, real-time shipment tracking (as required).- Incorporate total cost of ownership and logístical aspects in the Request for Quote process for make or buy (purchased) products.- Support safe launch plans and product transfers.Other tasks and duties as assigned.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain - Logistics, Business, or a related discipline.- 3 - 5 years of relevant Supply Chain, international logistics, transportation, & warehousing in the Automotive industry preferred.- Must have a minimum of 2 supply chain related internships if a recent graduate- Multi-site regional experience, global preferred- Strong data analytical skills and business acumen- Strong Microsoft skills (Excel - pivot tables, vlookups, charts, graphs, etc. & PowerPoint)- Knowledge of Supply Chain (transportation & warehousing) principles and practices utilize with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)- Business fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).- Must be flexible with support during non-core working hours.Gentherm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.- Job Req ID: ****- Country/Region: MX- Published: May 29, ******Job Segment**:Logistics, Supply Chain, Recent Graduate, Supply, Operations, Entry Level, Automotive
