Job DescriptionShared Services Accountant will support a range of accounting activities within NOV's Finance Shared Services organization.This role contributes to accurate financial reporting, timely month-end close processes, and effective transactional execution across multiple business units in North America.The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to NOV policies, and participation in process improvement initiatives.LocationMonterrey, Mexico (city or metropolitan area only)Work ArrangementHybrid (On-site Monday, Wednesday & Friday | Remote Tuesday & Thursday)Schedule7:00 am – 4:00 pmDepartmentFinance Shared ServicesDuties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentationPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling itemsSupport month-end close procedures and prepare financial schedules and reportsProvide accounting information and analysis to internal stakeholdersIntercompany (IC) AccountingProcess intercompany invoices and supporting documentationReconcile intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies with partner entitiesSupport intercompany billing and month-end close activitiesBilling, Revenue & AP/AR SupportPrepare invoices and verify accuracy of billing documentationValidate transactions, troubleshoot discrepancies, and support revenue processesAssist with AP/AR tasks, non-trade transaction reviews, and issue resolutionCompliance, Controls & ReportingAssist with internal controls documentation and SOX-related activitiesSupport internal, external, statutory, and tax audit requestsEnsure compliance with NOV accounting policies and corporate deadlinesProcess ImprovementParticipate in process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field1+ year of experience in accounting, billing, AP/AR, GL, intercompany, or related areasExperience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in ExcelUnderstanding of general accounting principles and month-end processesEnglish proficiency (conversational to fluent) required for daily communicationSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAdaptability and willingness to identify and drive process improvementsAdditional InformationOnly candidates currently located in Monterrey or the metropolitan area will be consideredNOV does not offer relocation for this positionCandidate alignment to specific requisitions may vary depending on experience and team needs#J-*****-Ljbffr
