Minimum of Bachelor's degree- 8+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.Job summaryAmazon's Prime Video is a premium on-demand video entertainment service that offers customers the greatest choice in what to watch from popular Prime Original and Exclusive shows.Prime Video is at the forefront of the entertainment industry and growing fast, now available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.We work in a dynamic, and exciting environment where innovating on behalf of our customers is at the heart of everything we do.The Prime Video LATAM Finance team seeks a Finance Manager to partner with the Mexico Marketing and Content teams.The role is highly commercial and analytical in focus, leveraging data-driven insights to shape and inform short and long-term initiatives and prioritization frameworks.The work done in this role will directly affect what our Customers see and how we grow our Mexico business.It would suit finance professionals with a transactional, commercial or a tech finance background with strong proficiency in analytics / financial modelling.Based in our Mexico City Office, this is a new role as business requirements expand.Key job responsibilities- Partner with the Mexico business team to build financial models that evaluate potential investment opportunities.- Influence business decisions by effective verbal and written communication, data driven analyses, modeling, and presentations of alternatives.- Lead the weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews with senior stakeholders- Develop new performance metrics and improve existing processes to drive insight, accountability, and control.- Run ad hoc analyses, review business cases, perform benchmarking, and actively participate in projects to ensure we are taking the right decisions in our business.- Experience building dynamic financial models, performing ad hoc analyses, and providing recommendations to management based on results.- Experience with financial budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.- Advanced knowledge of Excel.- Familiarity with multiple analytical tools, modeling methods, and financial reporting systems (e.g., Cognos, SQL, Tableau).- High attention to detail, comfort with ambiguity, and an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
