**Get to know Okta**Okta is The World's Identity Company.We free everyone to safely use any technology, anywhere, on any device or app.Our flexible and neutral products, Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform, provide secure access, authentication, and automation, placing identity at the core of business security and growth.At Okta, we celebrate a variety of perspectives and experiences.We are not looking for someone who checks every single box - we're looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences.Join our teamWe're building a world where Identity belongs to you.**The Global Presales team**The Global Presales organization at Okta brings together a diverse group of experts, including Solutions Engineers, the Office of the Field CTO, Alliances, Architects and more, who combine deep technical expertise with strategic business insight.This team serves as trusted advisors to a wide range of customers and partners, helping them unlock the full potential of Okta's Identity Platform.By asking insightful questions, understanding complex challenges, and delivering tailored solutions, we empower organizations to address their unique identity needs.Empathy, collaboration, and a relentless focus on customer success drive our work and set us apart.**The Senior Solutions Sales Engineer, Enterprise - LATAM- Mexico City Opportunity**Okta's Solutions Engineers empathize with customers and quickly discern their true technical needs by asking detailed and clarifying questions and presenting solutions that target those needs.Solutions Engineers have the rare combination of technical savviness and business insight.As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Okta, you will hone each of these skills by advising a diverse set of Fortune 500 customers on what is possible using Okta's Identity Platform.**What you'll be doing**- Collaborate with account executives to develop and execute territory and account strategies to maximize the Okta opportunity in those accounts- Prepare and deliver demos to showcase how the Okta platform meets customers' business needs and use cases- Conduct research and discovery to understand customer requirements and communicate the business value of solving technology problems using cloud technology- Craft technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases or standard methodologies for new technologies- Author concise written documentation for RFPs, security questionnaires, product use case blogs, etc.- Distill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales**Required Skills**:- 5+ years pre-sales engineering experience- Fluent in English and Spanish (Portuguese also is a big plus)- Preferred: Background in Identity/Security- Ability to travel inside and outside the USA to Latin American countries freely- A passion to serve the customer, which has played out in some customer-facing role like consulting or support, ideally solutions engineering- An ability to quickly and effectively communicate complex technical concepts via presentation, slides and whiteboard- Hands-on coding experience in one or more of the following areas: web development (JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks), mobile development (iOS, Android), backend development (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby)- Experience with at least one standard network security protocol (eg.
