Job TitleSenior Trust Accounting BookkeeperJob OverviewIn this role you will play an integral role in the customer's day-to-day accounting operations within their Rentvine account.You will be a trust accounting expert for the customers you are assigned and will also assist coworkers with solutions for accounting-based questions.Job DutiesAs the Senior Trust Accounting Bookkeeper, you will oversee the accounting operations for the customers within your pod.You and a junior trust accounting bookkeeper will manage the day-to-day accounting operations for those customers to ensure clean books for the customer.There will be daily, weekly and monthly recurring accounting tasks that include but are not limited to: adding and paying bills; paying owners and publishing owner statements; reconciling bank accounts and compiling the reconciliation audit package; recording journal entries and bank transfers; recording and releasingsecurity deposits; correcting escrow mismatches and suppressed fee mismatch corrections; and other common trust accounting procedures.Qualifications1–3 years of experience in Accounting/FinanceExperience in Trust Accounting or Property Management is preferredIntermediate to advanced technical skills in ExcelHighly detail-oriented and organized with proven accuracyExperience RequiredReconciling bank accounts within Rentvine software, or a similar property management softwarePaying bills within the Rentvine software, or a similar property management softwarePosting and paying management fee bills from the Rentvine softwarePerforming owner distributions within the Rentvine software, or a similar property management softwareDiagnostic cleanup to correct escrow mismatches and suppressed fee mismatches within the Rentvine softwareSeniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionAccounting/Auditing, Administrative, and Customer Service#J-*****-Ljbffr
