Welcome to Warner Bros.Discoverythe stuff dreams are made of._Who We AreWhen we say, "the stuff dreams are made of," we're not just referring to the world of wizards, dragons and superheroes, or even to the wonders of Planet Earth.Behind WBD's vast portfolio of iconic content and beloved brands, are the _storytellers_ bringing our characters to life, the_ creators_ bringing them to your living rooms and the _dreamers_ creating what's nextFrom brilliant creatives, to technology trailblazers, across the globe, WBD offers career defining opportunities, thoughtfully curated benefits, and the tools to explore and grow into your best selves.Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive.Your New RoleWe are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Global Studios Content Accounting team.The Global Studios Content Accounting is responsible for global by title accounting and reporting accuracy and completeness of content costs across all Warner Bros. studios feature film and television content including amortization of capitalized film costs, participations, and residuals for all produced, acquired, co-financed, or distributed content.Your Role AccountabilitiesGeneral Accounting Responsibilities :Support day-to-day general accounting and reporting activitiesReview daily cash journal entries prepared by Capgemini teamsPrepare wire requests, participation funding, and production paymentsSAP Master data maintenance responsibilities, including add / maintain MPM's in IPM, create new bank GL accounts, new development, production and music projects, etc.Prepare various reports to support external reporting requirementsResearch and clear Suspense account transactionsMonthly / Quarterly DeliverablesResponsible for certain month & quarter end close activities such as :Prepare various monthly journal entries and accrualsPrepare capitalized film cost journal entries (Released Inventory, Completed Not Released, and In Process).Prepare capitalized interest calculationsPrepare and reconcile hedge accountingPrepare inventory package schedules, OCI recon worksheet, and other supplemental schedules as requiredPrepare co-fi partner interest calculations, reconciliations and invoices as needed.Make recommendations on process improvements and standardization to gain greater efficiency and effectiveness within the finance organization.Other special projects as required.Qualifications and Experience3+ years previous work experience in an accounting or finance field.Highly motivated, analytical, proactive, and self-sufficientMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail and understand written and oral instructions.Must have the ability to organize and schedule work effectively.Must have the ability to multi-task projects simultaneously and be able to prioritize.Must be able to adapt in a changing environment and quickly learn new concepts, solve problems and implement solutions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Excel.BA / BS degree in Finance or Accounting required.Must be fluent or near fluent in English.DesirableCPA or MBA equivalent strongly preferred.Experience working with large amounts of data preferred.Experience with SAP is a plus.Working in shared service and / or outsourcing environment a plus.Previous "Big 4" accounting experience preferred.How We Get Things DoneChampioning Inclusion at WBD#J-*****-Ljbffr
