Overview:The Staff need Analysis (SNA) result for all entities including SOFOM was send to HO for informational purposes.Lisette Liberman (Global CCO) has approved the FTE headcount for SOFOM Compliance at that time.This is a replacement for Pamela Salas which will took the associate position (Ricardo Roman)**Responsibilities**:- Conduct Monitoring and Testing Activities of Compliance and AML matters.- Support the Compliance Officer in the policy implementation as well as conduct ad hoc reviews.- Communicates and interacts with:(i) the planning and compliance departments and FCC of SMBC in NY and Tokyo,(ii) Mexican law firms and consultants.- Review new laws, rules and other regulatory requirements and support in the implementation.Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Accounting, or Administration.MBA or Master degree will be considered a plus.- At least 2+ years of relevant professional experience preferably at international banks or boutique investment banks with a presence in Latin America.- Licensing & Certification of Money Laundering Compliance Officer issued by CNBV, ACAMS is consider a plus.- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering regulations.- Knowledge of policies and procedures of Compliance.- Attend regulatory letters from CNBV and CONDUSEF- Building strong and collaborative relationships with Compliance area and the business- Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective interpersonal skills:- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.- Self-starter, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.- Ability to work as a team player in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative work environment.- Timely schedule management.
