**Job Details****What you will do**:- Overseeing activities related to the procurement of Direct materials.- Establishes goals and objectives for purchasing department.- Develops policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.- Supplier-related initiatives including selection, qualification, negotiations and on-going assessment.- Manage and lead a team of buyers and expeditors to meet procurement and supplier management objectives.- Implement processes with suppliers to improve on time delivery- Ensures continuity of raw material supply to support production schedules and balances with achieving inventory level targets.- Analyzes inventory levels.Supports process to manage excess and obsolete material- Monitors on-time supplier deliveries, inventory turns, MRP execution, lead-time reduction, supplier performance and cost analysis.- Inventory level Management- Saving / Improvement projects- Responsible to coordinate the Engineering Changes and New Parts New Release process from the Purchasing side.**What we look for**:- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.- Three to five years' experience in purchasing, material planning or production control is recommended.- Detailed oriented, leadership, negotiation, team work, integrity- Knowledge of SAP MM module on a proficiency level.- Advance English communication skills both written and verbal.- Experience in a team environment- Have experience supervising people- Experienced, working in a custom made manufacturing environment.- Lean manufacturing knowledge.- Knowledge and development of ISO ****:**** standards.- Responsible, well organized, immediate response to all internal and external customers.- Strong decision-making skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously- Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Suite.- Availability to work under pressure.**"Johnson Controls does not request pregnancy or HIV testing as a requirement for admission, permanence or promotion"**:**Additional Information**:**Overtime Status: Exempt**:
