**RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL**:
Supervise the team of buyers and work with suppliers, production, materials and inventory management to ensure the appropriate materials are available to meet the production schedule; coordinate with inventory to time the shipment of specific materials in line with production schedules and inventory goals; and works with suppliers to procure the appropriate materials for production

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES**:

- Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the Purchasing function.
- Prepares instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.
- Analyzes market and delivers conditions to determine present and future material availability.
- Supervise buyer
- purchasing standard work
- Lead Purchasing activities, and inventory management.
- Monitor PO place, expedites, have conferences with suppliers and Lean alignment
- Interacts with Engineering and Quality departments on new products and/or revisions to existing products as well as quality parts.
- Serve as the Purchasing ethics/compliance representative.
- Supervise external and internal compliance audits.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's Degree completed
- 5+ years of experience in a related Purchasing role.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership position (must)
- Previous Supply Chain experience (planner, buyer/procurement, warehouse)
- 2 years of experience in SAP -material master/MM ( must)
- **Business/conversational English is a must due to the nature of the role**.
