A Project Manager will focus on providing support and delivery of a set of tasks to help initiate, plan, execute and control projects.This Project Manager position will require a Project Management background and experience with emphasis on delivery, multi-tasking, organizational, and change management skills.The role will be a key player in the support of delivery of key programs for Travelport in the Technology organization as part of the Product & Technology Operations team.Project Managers growth in expertise will increase data accuracy in MS Project schedules to support accurate metrics and reporting capabilities and improve on-time and within-budget delivery across technology.This role is intended to be both strategic as well as hands-on and will involve working across all Lines of Business and Functional Areas in the Technology organization as well as coaching, training, auditing, and supporting the PMO Project Management Process development.**Responsibilities**:- Exposure to all aspects of Project Management including estimation, sourcing, budgeting, scheduling, implementation, risk management and compliance.- Ability to learn and utilize the Product & Technology Operations Tools (MS Project, MS Excel)- Must be able to work across and support all Lines of Business and teams in Technology.- Be change agents for team collaboration and adoption of best practices and be able to navigate resistance to change.- Establishes, supports and monitors metrics for measuring key program deliverables.- Supports and monitors key financial program data regarding budgets, actuals and variance analysis- Track and monitor key program issues and risks and escalate as needed to Program Director- Maintains awareness of emerging technologies and project management techniques.- Advocates and complies with standards and best practices within the program that are f ocused on cost savings, high performance, high reliability, quality of user experience and architectural alignment of solutions.**What we look for/who would prosper in this role?**- University Degree or equivalent experience.- Solid experience leading small projects and support Project Managers on project delivery and health.- Has sound knowledge of business processes, and customer service.- Displays ownership, high quality and completeness of deliverables.- Self-motivated and driven; must be able to execute with little to no daily supervision.- Experience supporting project delivery in a matrix & virtual teams across multiple locations.- PMI/PMP or MS Project Certifications are a plus.- Prior experience in implementing best practices, governance, process improvement and coaching.- Experience with MS tools - MS Project, Power Point, Excel, Access, Visio and SharePoint.**As we evolve and grow as a business, so will you.**You will thrive within an inclusive and diverse workplace where you are encouraged to think differently, and have the courage, confidence & ambition to challenge what's been done before, and be bold to win**Interested?We'd love for you to get in touch
