OverviewAt Amazon, we are working to be the most customer-centric company on earth.To get there, we need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people.Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute millions of products each year to our loyal customers.The Loss Prevention Specialist (LPS) is a key high level hourly associate position in the Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FCs).In this role, you will lead the effort to efficiently and effectively provide security services and asset (lives, buildings, equipment, inventory, data, & intellectual property) protection in a designated FC.You will report to the Loss Prevention Manager responsible for their facility, and aid them in supporting the FC Operational team, and the cross functional teams throughout the organization.ResponsibilitiesEnhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely mannerEnsure internal controls per Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements related to area are fulfilledAssist with investigations of internal and external theft and fraud and conduct interviews when appropriateInspire performance excellence on the part of all security services team membersEnsure that you understand, align performance and actions with and can clearly articulate the vision and values of the organization and their departmentMeet or surpass your objectives that align with security service modelIdentify, promote and implement security best practices in a designated FCServe as department's liaison and security subject matter expert for facility management keeping them abreast of key issues, strategies and the department's performanceUtilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiencyEffectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes and initiativesCoordinate data collection, through database polling or data entry, from multiple FCs; and conduct analysis generating strategic and tactical interpretationsBasic Qualifications2+ years of any combination of the following: application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, and penetration testing experienceKnowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (especially Excel)Speak, write, and read fluently in EnglishBachelor's degreeShift work will be required, potentially to include nights, weekends and Public Holidays.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of Lean Six SigmaKnowledge of databases (querying and analyzing) such as SQL, MYSQL, and ETL Manager and working with large data setsExperience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentationExperience within a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing environmentExperience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security and personnel issues in the work placeExperience with physical security control and surveillance systemsExperience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasksExperience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writingExperience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-upExperience in developing and executing an analytic vision to solve business-relevant problemsOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Company - Servicios Comerciales Amazon México S. de R.L. de C.V.Job ID: A*******#J-*****-Ljbffr
