Career Area: Marketing / Sales / Product SupportAt Caterpillar, we work to help our customers build a better world.Without our team of talented, bright, and driven individuals, we wouldn't be the Caterpillar we are today.Now, this is your chance to join our team and do work that matters.We want you to help us enable customer success, make progress possible around the world and help our communities grow and thrive.We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our Americas Distribution, Service and Marketing Division as a Marketing and sales consultant.ResponsibilitiesEnsure dealers deliver on the bestCustomer Experienceby focusing on continuous improvement of the following areas such :Lead Marketing and Sales Operational Excellence Programs, ensure deployment, develop improvement action plans, set targets, and lead governance.Dealer performance in traditional and digital marketing, as well as sales operationsAdvising on existing and potential customer experience gaps and recommending ways to improve experience through technology, etcEnsure dealers have a strong customer management process in place, enabling clean data for Cat and Dealer to leverageConsulting with dealers on process improvement methods and assisting with process evaluationIn addition, enableServices Revenuegrowth by focusing on the following key areas :Ensure dealers have a robust PSE Funnel management process in placeImprove Dealer Coverage by completing coverage assessments and leveraging multiple sales channels, ensuring opportunity is assignedLead quarterly dealer business reviews / leadership table meetings and governance of follow up items with dealer executive team.Developing strategies and plans to improve dealer effectiveness and identifying potential opportunities to increase sales.Lastly, lead keyCaterpillar strategicinitiatives such as :Machine Sales Participation, ensuring dealers are correctly reporting sales activities and actively improving deal participationDeploy Retail Transformation on key dealer branches, transforming the way dealers do business with retail customersGrow E-Commerce revenue and customers by ensuring dealers have a strong go to market planQualificationsBachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing / Marketing Communications or Engineering3-5 years of previous work experience within a field environment for an organizationThe ability to work independently most of the timeThis role is dealer / client facing and requires strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsProven ability to work on increasingly more complex assignments and provide direction to lower-level representatives on various project assignmentsFluency in English and SpanishAdditional InformationThis position may require up to 30% domestic and international travelFinal DetailsThe Caterpillar Code of Conduct states that we will select and place employees based on their qualifications for the job to be performed, without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability.In this company we do not request pregnancy tests, nor HIV tests as requirements for employment entry, permanence or promotion.Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?Submit your information to our Talent Network here. #J-18808-Ljbffr
