**Together We Save Lives**The keys to success are yours at _Joyson Safety Systems_We are a global leader in design, development and manufacturing of safety-critical systems and components for automotive and non-automotive markets.We are committed to bringing life-saving technology to customers worldwide.Joyson Safety Systems leverages the power of collaboration and innovation to provide quality and service excellence for our customers worldwide.We are currently seeking a **Project Buyer** for our **Shared Service Center** located at San Nicolas de los Garza, NL.**Position Objectives**:- Engage with Project Purchasing supplier base- Develop and execute cost reduction projects- Launches at the lowest total cost consistent with accepted standards of quality and timely availability to meet requirements for manufacturing in the Americas Region- Localization strategy in order to achieve the savings goal**Experience/Skills**:- 2-3 years of experience in Project Purchasing in the Automotive Industry (required)- Preferred experience in decorative plastics, diecast, electromechanical and stampings- Bachelor's degree- Fluent in English language skills, written and spoken (required)- Strong negotiating skills**Responsibilities**:- Project Purchasing overall activities related to cost analysis, supplier selection, price negotiations, and sourcing risk analysis for component or service providers of assigned projects or customer programs- To ensure the best piece price- Works closely with Supplier Quality to monitor and correct all supplier PPM problems- Initiate and/or support VAVE for cost reductions initiatives- Manage with the Commodity Management and Plant Purchasing Teams the negotiation of cost and lead times for components or services as needed to meet OEM customer timing requirements for assigned projects or programs.- Ensure all programs under responsibility are aligned with global purchasing strategies for component cost, LTA, payment terms, freight and delivery requirements, and asset allocation targets.-- We are an Affirmative Action/EEO employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, disability or veteran status._Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completoHorario:- Diurno- Lunes a viernesPregunta(s) de postulación:- ¿Cuál es tu nível de inglés?Explica.Experiência:- Project Purchasing in Automotive Industry: 2 años (Obligatorio)
