ResponsibilitiesTikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video.Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy.TikTok has global offices including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul and Tokyo.Why Join UsAt TikTok, our people are humble, intelligent, compassionate and creative.We create to inspire - for you, for us, and for more than 1 billion users on our platform.We lead with curiosity and aim for the highest, never shying away from taking calculated risks and embracing ambiguity as it comes.Here, the opportunities are limitless for those who dare to pursue bold ideas that exist just beyond the boundary of possibility.Join us and make impact happen with a career at TikTok.TikTok is seeking a B2B Events Marketing Lead to oversee the B2B Events team & strategy for Mexico.The ideal person will exhibit strong leadership qualities and deep expertise in the B2B events & marketing domain.**Responsibilities**:- Lead the B2B Events Marketing team and own events strategy in alignment with the broader regional & global marketing teams and the local Sales organization- Event Management - End to End management of events e.g. Trade shows, Newgen Events, Industry events, Partner events.- Plan, create event marketing strategy and manage events, including coordination and execution of trade industry events and sponsorships.- Taking complete ownership of projects being undertaken for execution under events & activations- Experience & understanding of small & large format B2B events.Have worked or been part of creating IP's- Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on event programs.- Manage the day-to-day relationship and activities with external vendors and event partners.- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders.- Negotiate agreements with vendors and sponsor contacts to ensure lowest cost and highest quality of service.- Work closely with sales, PR & marketing team on sponsorship arrangements and key initiatives within the organisation.- Determine fiscal requirements and manage event budget including the collection of receipts and all surrounding documents.- Coordinate event environment (branding etc.) and manage the execution of events onsite.- Analyse event operations and prepare and implement recommendations for improving operational efficiencies within the events.- Troubleshoot and smooth issues related to the successful execution of the event program.- Provide post event analysis, budget recaps, internal and external feedback and incorporate learning into future event plans.- Conduct research and identify new event opportunities for the company.- Source and manage promotional items for key marketing initiatives.- Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success- Measure each event (ROI)**Qualifications**:At least 5 years of relevant events & marketing experience with deep knowledge of the Mexico commercial marketAt least 5 years of relevant events & marketing experience with deep knowledge of the Mexico commercial market- Strong track record of leadership and mentorship- Exceptional written and oral communication skills- Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills- Ability to develop strong networks and build credibility within the organization.- Flexible and solution-oriented approach with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Word, PowerPoint and Excel as well as flexibility with similar alternative programs.- Ability to process a vast amount of information and understand and prioritize competing business needs.- The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and vendors at all levels to meet business goals.- Proven ability to take direction and input in order to develop effective and engaging branded events that will achieve organizational goals.- Creativity and commercial awareness- Willingness to roll up his/her sleeves to get the work done or go the extra mile.Strong personal work ethic.Flexible personality and quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written/verbal)TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.Our platform connects people from across the globe and so does our workplace.At TikTok, our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy.To achieve that goal, we are committed to celebrating our diverse voices and to creating an environment that reflects the many communities we reach.We are passionate about this and hope you are too.
