Responsibilities Manages projects which include analysis, scoping, budgeting, planning, fieldwork, reporting, test scripts creation and issue follow-up. Implements the redesign and alignment of a single process across all accounting teams. Works on ad-hoc improvement projects, recommends changes to established methods and implements new processes within the teams in order to obtain efficiencies. Identifies software requirements and enhancements needed based on strategic and departmental goals. Liaises with procurement team in the business on any purchasing projects. Serves as an escalation point for the project management team, clients, and support teams, on project issue identification, escalation and resolution. Advice on issue escalation and risk mitigation by evaluating the probability of risk and helping develop quality and risk management plans to minimize negative impact to the settlement accounting processes. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and leadership to seek low risk resolutions. Follow up and analysis of the annual mandates of the card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover) and México/Chile domestic rules in order to submit requirements or change steps in the daily reconciliations.
