  • Manages projects which include analysis, scoping, budgeting, planning, fieldwork, reporting, test scripts creation and issue follow-up.
  • Implements the redesign and alignment of a single process across all accounting teams.
  • Works on ad-hoc improvement projects, recommends changes to established methods and implements new processes within the teams in order to obtain efficiencies.
  • Identifies software requirements and enhancements needed based on strategic and departmental goals.
  • Liaises with procurement team in the business on any purchasing projects.
  • Serves as an escalation point for the project management team, clients, and support teams, on project issue identification, escalation and resolution.
  • Advice on issue escalation and risk mitigation by evaluating the probability of risk and helping develop quality and risk management plans to minimize negative impact to the settlement accounting processes.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams and leadership to seek low risk resolutions.
  • Follow up and analysis of the annual mandates of the card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover) and México/Chile domestic rules in order to submit requirements or change steps in the daily reconciliations.
