Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.**WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:**A Security Manager is responsible for protecting an organization’s assets, personnel, and infrastructure by developing and overseeing security policies, procedures, and teams.* Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to safeguard physical and digital assets.* Manage budgets for security operations and monitor expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.* Recruit, train, and supervise security personnel, including guards and officers.* Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.* Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents or investigations.* Ensure compliance with local, national, and industry-specific regulations regarding safety and security.* Monitor surveillance systems and access control to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.**YOU HAVE:*** Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, or related field* Minimum 5+ years’ working experience in security operations or law enforcement.* Full professional fluency in English is required for this position.* Knowledge of security technology, including CCTV, alarm systems, and cybersecurity basics.* Experience in developing and monitoring a Business Continuity Plan (BCP).* Experience in CTPAT protocols.* OEA - Experience in this certification with a focus on Safety: Implementation of robust security measures throughout the supply chain, from physical security to personnel and process control.* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.* Strong leadership and decision-making skills, especially under pressure.**WE HAVE:*** A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions.
