Would you like to join a value-oriented company where we create water solutions that contribute to a better climate and life for people around the world?We are seeking an experienced CSSC Application Engineer to join our CSSC Backoffice Water Utility team.This position reports directly to the CSSC Supervisor.This position may be based at either our facility in Brookshire, TX, or our office in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico.To be considered, candidates must be authorized to work in the country where they will be based.What is the job about?This position will contribute to a thriving Customer Sales & Support Center team by providing timely and effective technical advice to the incoming inquiries.The Application Engineer will deliver World Class Customer Experience by providing technically advanced support and applying established procedures and guidelines.The team always contribute to maintain and improve the organization ´s Customer relationship.Your main responsibilitiesProvide technical assistance to Customers regarding the product sizing, applications, system solutions, accessories, installations, prices, etc. assuring the functionality of the solution in practice.Follow up on Customer interactions within set SLA.Process special orders and inquiries in coordination with the suppliers.Support sales teams by handling tenders and projects, include providing dimension, specifications, calculations, time of delivery, operation and maintenance issues, etc.Identify business opportunities and handover to external sales.Ensure customer master data is updated on portfolio of customers under their responsibility.Communicate, collaborate, and provide support with the respective product segment or other suppliers, where local problem solving is not available.Your backgroundWe imagine that you have :Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics preferred) or other technical discipline, or equivalent in a technical role within the pump industry or equivalent field years of experience)Must display a high mechanical and electrical ability.Ability to support multiple customer requirements in a fast-paced environment.Displays the ability to organize and maintain various files and logs.Demonstrates the ability to own customer requests and follow them to completion.Capable of communicating to a technical or non-technical audience.Good written and verbal communication skills.High customer / client Focus.Proficient in Application Engineering, capable of assessing technical specifications and developing comprehensive bid proposals for pumps and controls.Ability to train Engineers and customers on pumping technology and products.Effective experience with controls and control systems is valued.Excellent written and spoken English.The ability to operate daily out of the Brookshire, TX facility in a hybrid function.Applicants : Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.What's in it for you?Whether it's developing skills or advancing your expertise even further, we'll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path.You'll be welcomed from day one into an inclusive, trusting environment guided by six core values.BenefitsIn addition, your day-to-day benefits include : 5 paid holidays;
