**Job Description Summary**: Job Summary:The Manager, BD Excellence is a champion for Process Improvement and takes a lead role in the development of an Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement culture within Juarez sites (all plants).Ensures the necessary skills, tools and resources are in place to facilitate the optimization of performance.Acts as an important Change Agent, Champion for Culture Change and Process Transformation, while driving Continuous Improvement.Possess strong leadership and influence skills to solve complex problems with an emphasis on, improving the quality, compliance, service, and business financials.Responsible for providing technical knowledge, and support using the Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.Manages difficult manufacturing process and problems using sound methodology.Comprehend and fully applies new technology developments.Oversees (directly or indirectly) technical and/or engineering personnel assigned to Continuous Improvement projects.Provides technical support, and coaching/mentoring to the GFO team.**Job Position**:Manager, BD Excellence**About of BD**Our talent and culture philosophy focuses on making our people the greatest competitive advantage.**¿Quieres pertenecer a una empresa líder global en tecnología médica que actua para impulsar el mundo de la salud?**BD es una de las compañías de tecnología médica más grandes del mundo.Tenemos una posición única en el mercado con soluciones para mejorar el manejo de la enfermedad y el manejo de la atención, apoyando a clientes, profesionales de la salud y pacientes en la mejora de la práctica clínica.A nível mundial, somos más de 65,000 empleados apasionados por lo que hacemos y estamos comprometidos a impulsar el mundo de la salud con soluciones desde el diagnóstico hasta el tratamiento.**Responsibilities**: _(Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)_- Design and lead the implementation of the continuous improvement strategy throughout the organization including:- Development of Appropriate Metrics and Measuring Systems.- Facilitate cost savings (A3) Process.- Lead Continuous improvement Project Management.- Lead Lean Six Sigma Training.- Lead Kaizen Program.- Strengthening Cross-Functional Representation, Engagement, Accountability, Ownership and Communication.- Support BD Business Model initiatives develop strategies and drive execution to optimize business processes.- Support leadership in meeting business goals.Includes identifying and prioritizing the right business opportunities.- Review ongoing performance trends to drive an overall improvement and consistency in manufacturing line output.- Collaborate with Managers/Leaders to identify each department's top priorities and determine best methods for driving process and culture change.- Communicate business related issues or opportunities to next management level.- Implement systematic problem solving /root cause analysis process.- Participate in new product introductions and product transfer ensuring waste is identified and eliminated.- Engage, train and coach all employees to become active champions of the process.- Other duties as assigned.**Education and Experience**:- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Equivalent- Minimum five (5) years of Process Excellence experience or equivalent- Five (5)+ years Business Excellence/Continuous Improvement leadership experience in a lean manufacturing environment.- Five (5)+ Project Management Experience- Lean six Sigma Black belt Certification is preferred.- Experience in a regulated environment is preferred.**Knowledge and Skills**:**Basic Qualifications**- Demonstrated success in several significant savings and cultural change projects.- Excellent communication skills.- Ability to solve problems and conflicts, work well with others and demonstrate team work.- Customer focus, innovative, results oriented.- Demonstrates a solid work ethic and positive demeanor/attitude.**Personal Trait Profile**- Self-sufficient- Enthusiastic- Team oriented- Lives the "continuous improvement" philosophy and can drive change successfully- Non-political- Logical and creative thinker- Poised, strong personal impact- Confident- Ability to influence others - credible- Ability to articulate the BELS philosophy- Facilitation skills**Physical Demands**:_(if applicable)_Regular typing and computer work performed on a daily basis.Requires occasional light physical effort (e.g., prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping reaching and/or lifting of light items - up to 30 lbs.).**Work Environment**:_(if applicable)_Primarily placed in office environment.May require some exposure to chemicals used in manufacturing processes, requiring some precaution.Some minor inconvenience or discomfort occasionally present in the work situation (moderate noise, disagreeable odors, etc.).**Required Skills**:Optional Skills**Primar
