Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team in a maquiladora environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and ensuring the company's financial health. The Controller will play a crucial role in implementing procedures, managing teams, and analyzing data to support strategic decision‑making. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the financial operations of the maquiladora, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Implement and monitor financial procedures and controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Manage and lead the finance team, providing guidance and support in their daily activities. Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Prepare and present accurate budgets and financial statements to senior management. Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and enhance efficiency. Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial audits and tax filings. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to safeguard company assets. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in a controller position within a maquiladora or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Proven experience in implementing financial procedures and systems. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong leadership and team management skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
