FLSmidth is looking for an Order CoordinatorLocation: MonterreyOur Order Coordinator at FLSmidth manages the direct day-to-day contact with our customers, delivers sales and customer support and facilitate order fulfillment to increase customer satisfaction and build long term profitable relationships.YOUR ACTIONS TODAY IMPACT THE WORLD TOMORROWDiscover sustainable solutionsAs a leader in the cement and mining industries, we have taken on the responsibility of developing sustainable solutions.We have the ambition to engineer the zero emissions cement plant and the zero emissions mining process by ****.And your know-how and innovative mindset will take us from idea to action.In this journey, we see digitalization as the enabler towards zero emissions.Express your passion for digitalization and innovation and together, we will discover the sustainable solutions of tomorrow.Do you want to make a difference in the world and contribute to a sustainable future?We believe that we can develop the technology and gain the know-how to make that difference, tackling the climate change challenge.We need your skills, curiosity and drive for change to fulfill our goal.Your responsibilities:- Provides expediting support for purchased components and equipment including FLSmidth proprietary designs- Provide customer with updates based on info received from Production department obtaining progress and status information to ensure that all deliveries will be available to ship to their destinations in full, on time, and with the requested quality.- Facilitate the necessary documents and packing list information from shipping department to facilitate shipment.- Informs internal stakeholders of any pending delivery delays- Follow up on past due to open purchase orders to expedite shipment and identify sources of delay in these orders to define trends.- Maintains general oversight of expediting status information in the Procurement System.- Any other duties as assigned.Qualifications:- Previous expediting experience preferred with 2 to 4 years of experience.- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business preferred.Equivalent experience acceptable.- Knowledge of Mining and Cement equipment is preferred.- Individual should possess a sense of urgency, be proactive, customer-driven, and motivated.- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, strong time management skills.- Must be able to be assertive with a strong commitment to meeting corporate deadlines and receiving critical orders on time.- Must be able to work in a project or team setting, able to remain calm in high-pressure situations.- Organization skills and ability to prioritize work based on appropriate requirements.- Good with data, spreadsheets, and data analysis.- Understands procurement process, including interactions with purchasing and logistics.- Commercial and technical knowledge or background is a plus- Blueprint reading is desirable.- Experience with international suppliers is a plus.- Fluent English language skills are required.What we offer- An equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.- A global network of supportive colleagues and growth opportunities.- Work-life balance so you can focus on professional and personal priorities.- Competitive benefit package including life insurance, Health Insurance (Seguro de Gastos Médicos Mayores y Menores).- Savings Fund.- Vacation Time Accrual starting day one.- Christmas Allowance (Aguinaldo) of 1 Month.
