**OPEN ROLE****Advanced Quality Engineer****¿Who are we?**Our vision is to deliver sustainable value with standard, consistent and digitally enhanced processes.To achieve this, we are seeking to attract highly motivated and skilled professionals.In return we offer a corporate culture which champions professional development, embraces and leads change, crates ingenious solutions for our customers and encourages collaboration.**Role Purpose****ResponsibilitiesSupport design and manufacturing functions during all stages of the CAPM process.Participate in stage gate and programme reviews.Participate in the development of the Process Flow/PFMEA/Control Plan.Review special characteristics in deployment.Verify that engineering, process intent, and production samples are manufactured and inspected according to SAFE Sample and customer specific requirements.Develop strong working relationships with customers and support on-site visits.Responsible for preparing and leading the Product Launch Quality Reviews (PLQR) and coordination of related Product Launch Quality Improvement Plan (PLQIP).Complete and submit PPAP documentation for approval and ensure it includes approved changes.Ensure PSW (Parts Submission Warrant) is signed off prior to the start of production.Responsible for training, implementation, follow-up, and closure of Initial Mass Production Quality plan (SAFE LAUNCH).Support problem solving activities and ensure timely feedback to the customer on product launch concerns.**Experience and essential qualifications**University Degree in **Industrial/Mechical/Chemistry or similar****Advanced English.****3 to 5 **years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering or program launching.**Essential Competences**Work in Quality FunctionManufacturing process experienceInterpretation of drawings and technical specifications (including GD&T)Experience/training with ISO/TS ***** systemsKnowledge of customer standards and specific requirementsKnowledge of GKN Driveline products and processesUse analysis tools such as MSA and APQP/CAPMConducting RCFAs (root cause failure analyses) on productsLean Principles, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma trainingWork with product warranties and analysing warranty dataExperience with warranty management systems
