**Role Purpose****Specifications**- University Degree in **Industrial/Mechical/Chemistry or similar**:- **Fl **uent in English.**:- **5 to 7 **years of experience in Quality.**Key Responsibilities**- Support design and manufacturing functions during all stages of the CAPM process. Participate in stage gate and programme reviews.- Participate in the development of the Process Flow/PFMEA/Control Plan. Review special characteristics in deployment.- Verify that engineering, process intent, and production samples are manufactured and inspected according to SAFE Sample and customer specific requirements.- Develop strong working relationships with customers and support on-site visits.- Responsible for preparing and leading the Product Launch Quality Reviews (PLQR) and coordination of related Product Launch Quality Improvement Plan (PLQIP).- Complete and submit PPAP documentation for approval and ensure it includes approved changes.- Ensure PSW (Parts Submission Warrant) is signed off prior to the start of production.- Responsible for training, implementation, follow-up, and closure of Initial Mass Production Quality plan (SAFE LAUNCH).- Support problem solving activities and ensure timely feedback to the customer on product launch concerns.- Undertake training when identified to improve business capability and allow for changes in technology and quality requirements. Continuously improve Advanced Quality processes.**Competences- Experience working in Quality Function- Manufacturing process experience- Interpretation of drawings and technical specifications (including GD&T)- Experience/training with ISO/TS 16949 systems- Knowledge of customer standards and specific requirements- Knowledge of GKN Driveline products and processes- Experience using analysis tools such as MSA and APQP/CAPM- Experience conducting RCFAs (root cause failure analyses) on products- Lean Principles, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma training- Experience working with product warranties and analysing warranty data- Experience with warranty management systems
