Their technology helps hotels from Fairmont luxury properties to budget chains automatically identify revenue mistakes and save real money (often thousands per month). With 100-200 new hotel sign-ups monthly, they're experiencing explosive growth while maintaining a close-knit, international team culture. This is a remote-first organization known for low turnover, innovation-driven mindset, and a “love to win, hate to lose” mentality.The Impact You'll Make As a Business Development Representative, you'll be the front line of a proven sales engine that's scaling rapidly. Your success drives the company's growth, with each hotel you bring on board directly impacting their revenue trajectory. This role combines strategic outbound prospecting with relationship-building, giving you variety and ownership over the full sales cycle up to contract signing.What Your Day Looks Like This is a balanced “rifle approach” to sales, not a spray-and-pray volume game:Conduct targeted outbound prospecting (cold calls and emails) to qualified hotel leads using a strategic three-touch funnel that convertsCross-sell additional services to existing customers during quarterly check-in calls, using real performance data to demonstrate ROIManage and convert inbound leads generated from trade shows and marketing campaignsLeverage a complete tech stack (Instantly, Zoho, Sales Message) with pre-built lead lists and established processesClose deals on a product that practically sells itself by showing hotels their missed revenue in real numbersCollaborate with a lead account manager and international sales team across time zonesMaintain pipeline accuracy and follow structured sales processes without power dialer automationResponsibilitiesConduct targeted outbound prospecting (cold calls and emails) to qualified hotel leads using a strategic three-touch funnel that convertsCross-sell additional services to existing customers during quarterly check-in calls, using real performance data to demonstrate ROIManage and convert inbound leads generated from trade shows and marketing campaignsLeverage a complete tech stack (Instantly, Zoho, Sales Message) with pre-built lead lists and established processesClose deals on a product that practically sells itself by showing hotels their missed revenue in real numbersCollaborate with a lead account manager and international sales team across time zonesMaintain pipeline accuracy and follow structured sales processes without power dialer automationQualificationsRequired Qualifications3+ years of proven B2B sales experience with documented successExperience in smaller, sophisticated companies where you've had to “roll up your sleeves” and handle complex sales cyclesFluent English communication skills (written and verbal) for professional business conversationsDemonstrated ability to sell to successful business owners and decision-makersIndependent contractor ready with reliable internet and professional home office setupAvailability to work 9am to 5pm Pacific Time with flexibility for East Coast callingLegal authorization to work as an independent contractor without sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsSaaS or hospitality industry experienceFamiliarity with Zoho CRM or similar pipeline management toolsTrack record in startup or high-growth environmentsPrevious experience with cross-selling or account expansion strategiesCompensation and BenefitsThis independent contractor role offers approximately $3,000 per month base compensation plus performance-based bonus structure (currently percentage of team revenue, evolving to appointment-based incentives).
