Descripción y detalle de las actividadesThe Sheet Metal Fixture Designer is responsible for creating, developing, and improving fixtures used in the manufacturing of sheet metal components.This role requires a deep understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skills.The designer will work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure that fixtures are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.Develop fixture prototypes and conduct tests to ensure they meet design and production requirements.Adjust designs based on test results.Participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize fixture design and manufacturing processes.Propose and implement improvements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.Work closely with design and manufacturing engineers to understand project requirements and ensure that the designed fixtures meet the specifications and production needs.Evaluate fixture designs and make necessary adjustments to improve functionality and efficiency.Identify and resolve issues related to the manufacturing and assembly of sheet metal parts.Create and maintain detailed documentation of fixture designs, including drawings, specifications, and user manuals.Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the production team.Provide technical support and training to production staff on the use and maintenance of fixtures.Plan and coordinate fixture design projects, managing timelines and resources to meet project goals.Ability to analyze designs and processes to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions CAD Software Skills: expertise in using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed drawings and models of fixtures.Project Management: Competence in planning and managing design projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.Knowledge of Standards and Regulations: Familiarity with applicable industry standards and regulations to ensure designs comply with legal and quality requirements.Experiência y requisitosBachelor's degree (A.
