Headline(Use headline from one of the 6 key messages) The Finance & Accounting Specialist will oversee financial operations, from daily accounting to long-term financial planning. This is a hands‑on role requiring both strategic thinking and operational execution. You’ll partner with senior leadership to ensure sound decision‑making, efficient resource allocation, and adherence to financial best practices. Your responsibilities Financial Management – Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to guide strategic decisions. Accounting Operations – Oversee accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and monthly/annual closing. Compliance & Reporting – Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; prepare accurate financial statements and regulatory filings. Internal Controls – Develop and maintain robust internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures. Business Partnering – Collaborate with department heads to monitor budgets, evaluate investments, and optimize costs. Audit & Tax – Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings. What you bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred). 7+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (D365 is a plus) and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial data to non‑financial stakeholders.
