**Responsibilities**:- Actively manage and direct all quality initiatives and requirements for various customers- Develop and sustain trust-based relationship with on-site and other customer representative(s) as the primary focal- Supports the product transition process, test plans, methods and equipment to assure compliance with regulatory, internal and customer specifications.- Provides day to day leadership to a team of Product Quality Engineers and Quality Assurance Technicians including mentoring, coaching, and training, recruiting, performance management and employee development.- Performs product and process audits/reviews and implements improvement actions.- Reviews quality data and determines if all products and processes are aligned with regulatory, internal and customer specifications.- Accountable for the customers quality scorecard results and improvement actions and maintains quality system and product documentation.- Manage customer escapes to support achieving zero significant customer escapes, reducing customer escape events and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or other relevant discipline.- Minimum 5 years of management experience, ideally in a quality leadership role.- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, manufacturing environment.- Strong people management and organization skills.- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is strongly preferred.- Meet Collins/RTX Enterprise Values including Ethical Behavior, Customer Focused Improvement, Accountability & Teamwork and Openness & Trust.- Superior attention to detail and drive for excellence.- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Collins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.Collins Aerospace has the capabilities, comprehensive portfolio and expertise to solve customers' toughest challenges and to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global market.**WE ARE REDEFINING AEROSPACE.**At Collins, the paths we pave together lead to limitless possibility.And the bonds we form - with our customers and with each other - propel us all higher, again and again.
