**Production Development Manager**:**Take your next career step at ABB with a global team that is energizing the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future.At ABB, we have the clear goal of driving diversity and inclusion across all dimensions: gender, LGBTQ+, abilities, ethnicity and generations.Together, we are embarking on a journey where each and every one of us, individually and collectively, welcomes and celebrates individual differences.**:Lead a function focused on the optimization of the Production organization's assembly methods, processes and equipment in close cooperation with Production management and Research and Development (R&D).**This position reports to**:Production Development Manager**Your responsibilities**:- Lead the introduction for ELSP/ELSB business line new products (NPI), Productivity, and support continuous improvement of existing product line.- Conducts analysis of plan versus actual project performance under the supervision of the Project Manager or Project Planning & Controls Manager.- Prepares materials for and assists in project reviews.Updates project (cost) adjustments, approved by the Project Manager and Controller, in SAP or other Project Controls systems.Monitors, controls, and releases requests for invoicing, based on instructions from the Project Manager.- Controls documentation accuracy and consistency, based on tasks assigned by Project Manager or Project Documentation Specialist and procedures agreed with the customer.- Leads implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for the local or regional project operation under the guidance of the Global Project Operations Manager.- Participates in the budgeting process, jointly with Local Division/Business Unit Manager and Controller.Participates in Sales and Operations planning with other members of the Local Division/Business Unit/Product Group management team and takes actions to close potential gaps in project execution capacity.- Supervises project execution and performance management through project or Gate reviews with management and Project Managers.- Assure HSE procedures when implementing Continuous Improvement projects, Kaizen and layout modifications.**Your background**:- Bachelor's degree from and accredited university or college.- Basic Theoretical with 5+ years of experience.- Advanced level of English required.- Lean Manufacturing knowledge.- ISO-**** experience.- Green Belt Certified.**More about us**:
