As a Production Development Specialist, you will drive improvements in production of specify products and systems in Electrification Smart Buildings business area in Ramos Arizpe. In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Reports any contract / safety / quality / program / cost issues to Project Manager(s) for resolution.
- Supports technical risk assessments and implements resulting actions for projects.
- Follows work plans and cost estimates provided by the Project Manager and ensures quality deliverables on time and at targeted cost.
- Collaborates with the Supply Chain function and the Project Manager(s) to meet the project deliverables.
- Coordinates with Manufacturing and Testing functions to ensure the technical solutions are appropriately manufactured/ staged and tested.
- Drives the achievement of assigned targets (quality, time, scope, cost) and raises and addresses risks.
- Identifies areas of product quality improvements.
- Bill of Material maintenance in SAP.
- Parts Routings and maintenance in SAP.
- Develops Fit, form and Function tests for new parts validation.
- Proposes and participates in relevant product and process improvement programs.
- Assures new projects and products complaint with HSE Standards.
- Ensures that Master Data is maintained efficiently and accurately in all systems within scope of responsibility.
- Documents, reviews and updates all work procedures pertaining to all aspects of system maintenance.
- May act as Master Data Super User, providing support and training to other Master Data Specialists and Master Data professionals in own area of responsibility and suggesting improvements concerning Master Data creation, maintenance, and archiving/deletion processes.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
- Electrical and Mechanical knowledge and background.
- Customer focus and sense of urgency.
- Previous experience with AutoCAD or similar design software.
- ISO-9001 Experience.
- Engineering background.
- Green Belt Certification (Desirable).
- Advanced English level.
