Senior DevOps Engineer – Remote Mexico City Avenga is a global technology services company that empowers organizations through digital transformation. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep CI/CD expertise to design, build, and operate secure, highly automated delivery pipelines for a distributed microservices architecture. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines that build, test, deploy, and provision applications across multiple environments. Automate software build, testing, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning. Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation. Implement and operate containerized platforms using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/ECS/OpenShift). Support release, version, and deployment management as a technical gatekeeper. Collaborate with IT and Security teams to address risk, compliance, and audit requirements. Implement and improve observability solutions (logs, metrics, monitoring). Design and operate event-driven architectures using messaging and queueing systems. Continuously analyze system performance and pipeline efficiency, identifying and delivering improvements. Qualifications Proven experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines in complex environments. Strong scripting skills in Shell, Python, or similar languages. Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services (CloudFront, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, API Gateway, Amplify, ALB/NLB, Route 53, S3, CloudWatch, DocumentDB, ElastiCache). Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Solid experience with container technologies and orchestration platforms. Experience with CI tools such as GitLab CI/CD and Bitbucket Pipelines. Familiarity with log management systems (Logstash, FluentD, Splunk, Sumo Logic, Graylog). Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, FluxCD, and Helm Charts. Strong understanding of observability practices and tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, and Grafana. Experience designing and implementing event‑driven systems (SQS, SNS, Kafka, etc.). Intermediate or higher English proficiency. Nice‑to‑have Experience working in regulated or compliance‑heavy environments. Strong troubleshooting and incident response skills.
