Key Responsibilities Manage the payroll function of SGS Co in North and Latin America. Oversee the full cycle bi‑weekly, weekly and monthly payrolls for 3,500+ employees in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru using ADP Celergo and Global View systems within a managed payroll model. Own the relationship with third‑party payroll providers in the region, ensuring a high level of service. Ensure prompt and accurate tax filing and payments, as well as pension and other contributions to various agencies. Be responsible for tax and reporting compliance of the Americas’ payroll function. Continuously develop, implement and maintain robust payroll balancing and validation processes, along with comprehensive audit controls to ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and external audit requirements. Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure timely payment of all payrolls, government and other remittances. Collaborate with stakeholders on benefit and reward changes. Work collaboratively with EMEA and APAC payroll managers to initiate global payroll process improvements as an integral part of the Global Payroll Team. Lead a team of 2–4 payroll coordinators, providing coaching, training and conducting performance reviews. Support ongoing global expansion and process improvement efforts by playing a key role in global payroll integration projects in multiple countries. Skills and Abilities Strong organizational and administrative skills and ability to manage a team. 5–7 years of experience as an NA or Global Payroll Manager or Payroll Lead. Experience in a fast‑paced HR/Payroll environment. Comfortable working with senior members of staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business. Team player at both local and international levels. Practical and logical, able to solve problems quickly. Prior experience in HR operations and knowledge of best practices. Familiarity with current employment rules and regulations. Hands‑on experience with HR software (HRIS). Advantageous Good understanding of the full‑cycle hiring process. Experience with ADP Celergo and ADP Global View systems. Experience with benefits and pensions administration. NPI, PayrollOrg or similar payroll association certifications. Experience working in a corporate, process‑driven environment. Understanding and experience with restructuring, mergers & acquisitions, and new global or local program implementations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
