**Career Area**:Manufacturing**Your Work Shapes the World at Caterpillar Inc.**When you join Caterpillar, you're joining a global team who cares not just about the work we do - but also about each other.We are the makers, problem solvers, and future world builders who are creating stronger, more sustainable communities.We don't just talk about progress and innovation here - we make it happen, with our customers, where we work and live.Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.**Job Summary**This position will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing production methods and workflows to maximize productivity and quality while minimizing costs.In addition to process improvement, manufacturing engineers also focus on product design for manufacturability while providing support, guidance and launch projects on all aspects of production, costs, quality, compliance to safety guidelines, and environmental requirements for manufacturing to sustain and improve results.**What You Will Do**- Participating in identifying and implementing enhancements and modifications to equipment and processes.- Constantly seeking opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.- Analyzing engineering change notices, determines any part or process change, initiates and implements all changes.- Responsible for designing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.**Education requirement**:Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Administrative Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering.**What skills you will have**:**Judgment and Decision Making**:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Makes the transition from evaluation to conclusion readily and in a timely manner.**Lean Manufacturing**:- Use of Lean tools to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency- Discusses considerations for work cell design and effectiveness monitoring.- Selects and utilizes tools, techniques and measurements associated with a lean assessment.**Manufacturing Processes**:- Ability to interpret blueprints and product drawings- Ability to anticipate, identify, and mitigate risks in the manufacturing process- Skill to drive projects from conception to completion- Participates in measuring and monitoring new processes and technologies.- Ability to communicate across different areas and levels of the company- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)**Additional Information**:- This position will be in Reynosa, Tamaulipas- Work from Monday to Friday- This position requires Fluency in English.**Final details**:The Caterpillar Code of Conduct states that we will select, and place employees based on their qualifications for the job to be performed, without regard to race, religion, national origin, color, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability.In this company we do not request pregnancy tests, nor HIV tests as requirements for employment entry, permanence, or promotion.**Posting Dates**:octubre 11, **** - octubre 25, ****Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?Join our Talent Community.
